We had our first gathering tonight!  

It was a sweet time of fellowship...

and such a joy to see

how the Lord brought together ladies who had not met before

but who were able to encourage one another with similar life circumstances and stories...

And I have decided that play dates with dogs are better...

They play whatever you want to play...

For as long as you want to... 

And they do not hurt your feelings...

Even Bootsie was glad we had a visitor...

She got to spend some time inside, which is a rare treat for her these days!

A friend had a surprise birthday party for her daughter, who is turning 16!

  And we had 100 cupcakes to ice!

the party is over...

We had a visitor at Schmid Academy today!!

Molly was very well behaved, 

and seemed to enjoy listening to our reading!!

She sat very still while we did our work...

 But she was very glad when work time was over 

and she got to play with the boys!

Oh, and now, Paul has decided that he wants to be a veterinarian, 

so he can be around animals all day long!

 

This boys NEEDS a dog...

we must get him one some day!

Breakfast of Champions!!

Broccoli and Bacon Egg Muffins

I made these Christmas morning, and they were delicious...

  so I thought I would make them again this morning as we dove back into homeschooling full force today!

I wanted my boys to have good fuel for a day of schooling!  

James and I really like them... 

the boys think they are fantastic stinky, 

but they have learned to eat what I cook...

and managed to get them down without gagging too much trouble...

that I used to do every Wednesday, 

or every now and I then I may create a new one...

God never allows a thorn without providing sufficient grace and strength in our weaknesses. Sufficient grace is not just enough to survive, but enough to have supernatural joy in the midst of anything He allows us to go through.
